Event description:

Want to learn Choctaw? Come to the Native American Cultural Center (26 High Street) from 7-8pm, Sundays and Thursdays this semester (first session Sunday, September 20). No knowledge of Choctaw necessary, all Yale students welcome! Choctaw is offered through the Native American Language Project (NALP), an exciting new initiative at Yale, and a joint collaboration of the Native American Cultural Center, the Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage and the Center for Language Study. The NALP is piloting community classes this fall in both Choctaw and Mohawk (Mohawk schedule TBA). For more information,  contact Dean Fayard at kelly.fayard@yale.edu and/or Dr. Gleason at  angela.gleason@yale.edu.
