Open to all Yale and surrounding communities, the Nahuatl Working Group is hosting a special screening of “Mother’s Day in Cuetzalan: Panchita the Weaver” for Women’s History Month. The documentary offers an intimate look at the life of Panchita, a resilient and talented Nahua woman whose weaving skills sustain her family amidst challenging economic circumstances in Mexico’s Sierra Norte.
The Yale Native American Cultural Center presents the fourth annual Indigenous Arts Night.
The night will highlight Native and Indigenous artists and art makers of all disciplines, genres, and mediums – from music, dance, comedy, poetry, to film. The space is intended to showcase the beautiful work our communities create, and we are looking to honor, celebrate, and reclaim our creativity in a safe and supportive space.
The Native American Cultural Center will be putting on our second Comedy Night on November 20th at 7pm in the Acorn Cafe in Silliman College. There will be improv, stand up, and sketch comedy!

The House’s Extracurricular Bazaar is an annual event showcasing the diverse array of clubs and organizations centered around Black culture, heritage, and interests. Held in the House’s E-Room, the bazaar features colorful booths representing various groups, from academic societies to cultural associations and advocacy organizations. This event is open to all Yale students from first year undergrads to graduate and professional students.
No better way to spend April Fools than to share laughs and snacks at Indigenous Comedy Night. Join us 7-9PM in the Silliman Acorn on April 1st for improv, stand-up, sketch comedy, jokes, and more!
Join us during Family Weekend in The Underground. The showcase will feature visual art and written pieces on display, as well as performances by Latine/x individuals/groups ranging from comedy and music to dancing and speeches. . We are looking to celebrate Latine/x people in all spaces, to showcase all voices, talents, and achievements.
